Football Camp for Defensive Backs

Noblesteps Management will conduct a Defensive Back Camp at Medina High School’s Ken Duke Stadium. Cost of the Camp is $75.00. Space is limited to 100 players per camp.

Camp Dates are as follows:

Ages 8 – 11 June 11 8 – 4

Ages 12 – 14 June 12 8 – 4

Ages 15 – 18 June 13 8 – 4

Medina Youth Football welcomes the Strongsville Ducks to the All Ohio Youth Football Association. The Ducks will start competition in the fall of 2012 with Sophomore, Junior Varsity and Varsity squads.

Youth Football Coaches Clinic

The Medina High School Football Coach, Dan Sutherland has scheduled a clinic for all Medina Youth Football Coaches. The Clinic will be held on Saturday May 12th from 8-10:30 am. The Varsity Coaches will share their base offense, terminology, formations and basic techniques. High School Players will be available to demonstrate position drills. All Medina Youth Football Coaches are urged to attend this clinic. Please contact your Team Director for more information.

Equipment Management Volunteers Needed for 2012 Season

MYFA is looking for anyone interested in volunteering as an Equipment Manager or helping on the Equipment Management Team. Each team will be required to have at least one representative on the Equipment Management Team.
The Equipment Manager will be an appointed position by the Executive Board for the 2012 Football season.

Helmet Reconditioning Saturday April 21st

ATTENTION PARENTS: HELMET RECONDITIONING SATURDAY APRIL 24th

If you have purchased your child their own football helmet you will need to have it reconditioned and painted before the 2012 Football Season starts. MYFA has made the decision to go to black helmets for all teams to help with inventory control and flexibility. The Riddell Factory Representative will be at Bill Dunn Field on Saturday, April 21st from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM to receive your football helmet. The cost will be $27.50.

Riddell will also have a complete line of helmets on display for any parent that is interested in purchasing a new football helmet this year. Please contact your Team Director or Mike Tanksley if you have any questions or need more information.
