MYFA - What do you get?
- 40 Years of continuous dedication to Medina. A Focus on Pride, Honor, Teamwork, and Character - Ask an MYFA parent or player and you will hear something good!
- Tackle players that have a 10 play per game minimum. If you sign up you will play.
- Awards parties, trophy, and admission to MYFA team events.
- Limited fund raisers.
- 4 Age/weight classes for tackle that enhance meaningful participation at every position.
- Tackle players, cheerleaders, and flag participants receive all necessary equipment uniforms, and pads.
- Medina's most popular Cheer Camp
- Participation in community events such as Medina’s Memorial and July 4th Parades and Medina High School games.
Open communications between an elected board of directors, the coaches, parents, and participants.
MYFA its the only Youth football organization to fully fund its commitments–
- In 2005 MYFA fully funded a new sound system for Bill Dunn Field.
- In 2006 MYFA fully funded all renovations to the Bill Dunn Field’s House/Concession Stand
- In 2007 MYFA donated $5,000 to the MHS Turf Field
- In 2007 MYFA provided $500 to the Medina City Parks for Bill Dunn Field’s surface improvements!
- In 2008 MYFA provided funds and improvements to Medina City Parks and Medina High School Field
- In 2009 MYFA provided improvements to Bill Dunn Field property

Children of active US Military play for free. Those requesting scholarships due to financial hardship may write request on this form, attach a note, or contact a MYFA board member to discuss. NO CHILD WILL BE TURNED AWAY FOR INABILITY TO PAY. Verification of the participant’s date of birth (e.g. Copy of Birth Certificate, Baptismal Record, or Notarized Statement) will be required later. Football Participants from outside the Medina City Limits must have a Sports Activity Permit # (SAP) to play (street address or house # is 1400 or more). NO SAP needed for FLAG or CHEER (New for 2008)! No refunds will be granted after August 8, 2010.
