Meadows Turkey Bowl
Each Thanksgiving Day, you'll find MYFA Alumni playing backyard football for charity. This year Mike Meadows (alum)and his gang raised $35,000 for charity and $35,000 for the Kory Wiita Benevolent Fund.
MYFA has also contributed to the Kory Wiita fund. Kory is a Highland High School Senior who suffered three fractured vertebrae while making a tackle during a final season game against Cloverleaf Colts. Our blessings are with our WYFA family. The Cleveland Browns and J.J. Huddle are also contributing to help Kory and his family.
To send well wishes, sigh his guest book or make a donation, contact korywiita.org

Good Luck Coach Schwab!

Medina's New Elementary School, Waite Elementary, opened this fall in the Cobblestone Development. Happy Transition to new Principal Cindy Grice. Thank you Mrs. Grice for all the support you give the kids and the emerging leaders of MYFA. You have been a true team player and a good role model to MYFA players and cheerleaders during your position as Assistant principal at A.I. Root Middle School. Thank you. You can look forward to us supporting you.
The Express.
This docudrama about Heisman Trophy winning Ernie Davis, includes one of our own Colts cheerleaders, playing the role of a Texas Longhorn Cheerleader. Based on the incredible true story, The Express follows the inspirational life of college football hero Ernie Davis. Following his draft by the NFL, tragedy struck the inspirational life of this college football hero. His tale would forever change the face of professional sports.
Congratulations Ron Sency, 2007 inductee to Medina County Sports Hall of Fame. MYFA is proud that Ron got his start in football as a player for the Medina Colts.
